軽井沢ショー記念礼拝堂

Karuizawa Shaw Memorial Church

軽井沢ショー記念礼拝堂は、昭和天皇の即位を記念して建てられ、1953年に完成しました。建物は、木材を基にした温かみのあるデザインで、周囲の自然と調和しています。

礼拝堂の内部は、シンプルでありながらも荘厳な雰囲気が漂い、特にステンドグラスが印象的です。また、周囲には美しい庭園があり、結婚式や特別なイベントの会場としても人気があります。

The Karuizawa Shaw Memorial Chapel was built to commemorate the enthronement of Emperor Showa and was completed in 1953. The building features a warm design primarily made of wood, harmonizing beautifully with the surrounding nature. Inside the chapel, there is a simple yet majestic atmosphere, with particularly striking stained glass windows. Additionally, the surrounding gardens are beautiful and are popular venues for weddings and special events.

千ヶ滝

Sengataki Falls

美しい自然に囲まれた滝で、落差約20メートルの壮大な景観が楽しめます。滝へは、軽井沢星野エリアからのハイキングコースを通ってアクセスでき、途中には豊かな森林と川沿いの風景が広がっています。夏には涼しい避暑地として、秋には紅葉が彩る絶好のスポットとして人気です。軽井沢を代表する景勝地のひとつです。 

This waterfall, surrounded by beautiful nature, offers a stunning view with a drop of about 20 meters. You can access the falls via a hiking trail from the Karuizawa Hoshino area, which takes you through lush forests and along scenic riversides. It is a popular spot in summer as a cool retreat and in autumn for its vibrant fall colors. It is one of Karuizawa's most famous scenic locations. 

雲場池

Kumoba Pond

静かな水面に周囲の美しい自然が映り込む、絵画のような景観が楽しめる場所です。四季折々の風景が魅力で、特に秋には紅葉が池に映り込む絶景が広がり、多くの観光客が訪れます。遊歩道が池を囲んでおり、ゆっくりと散策しながら自然を満喫できます。 

This is a place where you can enjoy a picturesque landscape, with the beautiful nature surrounding the calm water reflecting on its surface. The scenery changes with the seasons, and in particular, the breathtaking view of autumn foliage reflecting in the pond attracts many tourists. A walking path encircles the pond, allowing visitors to leisurely stroll and fully appreciate the natural beauty.

セゾン現代美術館

Sezon Museum of Modern Art

現代アートを中心に展示する美術館で、1990年に開館し、特に日本の現代美術に焦点を当てたコレクションが特徴です。 20世紀前半の巨匠の作品から、日本気鋭の作家の 作品まで、幅広く展示しています。

This is a museum that focuses on contemporary art and is located in a rich natural environment. It opened in 1990 and is characterized by its collection that particularly emphasizes Japanese contemporary art. We have a wide range of exhibits, from masterpieces of early 20th-century masters to works by emerging Japanese writers. 

白糸の滝

Shiraito Falls

高さ3m、幅70mの湾曲した岩壁に数百条の 地下水が白糸のように落ち、清らかな水が岩肌を滑り落ちる様子はとても壮観です。自然の中での癒しのスポットとして人気があります。

The sight of hundreds of underground water streams cascading down a curved rock wall, 3 meters high and 70 meters wide, resembling white threads, is truly spectacular. It is a popular healing spot in nature.
